The backbone of our patrol division is our fleet of squad cars and other emergency response vehicles. Over the years the look and design of our squad car has changed. Now, our distinctive black and white cars with gray and white lettering, gives Munster Police Department cars a higher profile with better visibility. Our fleet is maintained by the men of the Munster Town Garage who do an outstanding job of keeping our cars running throughout the year. Lt. Kurt Matz is in charge of our vehicle fleet and the look of the cars.
