New Playgrounds Coming Soon to Briar Creek and Cobblestones Parks
Replacement playground equipment has been ordered for Briar Creek Park and Cobblestones Park after being approved by the Munster Park Board in the fall of 2024. This purchase was made using general obligation bond issue funds previously approved by the Munster Town Council. The new ‘GameTime’ playground equipment was ordered through Sinclair Recreation and has been delivered to the Town’s parks maintenance garage where it awaits installation. Both will be installed as weather permits with an anticipated completion by Spring 2025. Demolition of the existing playgrounds will occur starting Monday, February 3, 2025 at Cobblestones Park. The area will be fenced off during construction and everyone is asked to keep out of the playground area until the new ones open this spring.
